Is there an official class and race for the child of Bhaal in the original story? The Djinni in the dungeon who gave us the 2 handed sword of chaos say that it's something that belong to us. Is this an advice of the original story?.

Or simply, there's no official storyline.

There is a terrible story about a Bhaalspawn named Abduh... sorry, Abdel, warrior. It's semi-official. Could be found here on SP.

    Nothing REALLY official, though.

The story actually starts in BG1. So you would have to start there to figure out an 'official' character. But, it turns out that Bhaal had a whole lot of spawns. Guess he had a lot of fun with the ladies while roaming the mortal realms. So you just happen to be one that ended up in Candlekeep. Therefore you could be anything. Even a half fire giant. I guess Bhaal had no taste in women or to a demon-god anything female looks good.

Bit of a spoiler here but not really.

The two handed sword belonged to another bhaalspawn and the djinn simply can't tell bhaalspawn apart.

It originally belonged to Sarevok which he supposedly used during the BG1 story. The default character for the entire BG saga I think is a human fighter, who doesn't dualclass and uses Minsc, Jaheira, Joshimo, Imoen and Nalia in her absence. Probably Arie in the mix who is also the love interest.

Scary.. I always play a human fighter, never duals, and my party usually consists of Jaheira, Minsc, Joshimo (Imoen when.. You know.. :p ), Aerie and Nalia.

'Tis nice to hear I am a true spawn of Bhaal!! Muhahahahaha... ;)
