    It's not an effective IQ test. It's far too culturally dependent to be anything like accurate. No point taking it, IMHO, but some of the trick questions were amusing.

    Magpie - It's not acutally an IQ test. They're just for fun. I can remember taking quizzes like this as a child in trivia books and joke books I owned. In fact I can remember people asking these kinds of questions for fun when we would tell jokes. For instance, here's another one:

    A rooster is sitting on the very top of a building whose roof slants to the East and West, about to hatch an egg. Which way will the egg fall?

    or another:
    A plane crashes directly on the border of the US and Canada -- in which country are the survivors buried?

    It takes half an hour for each pill, but you can comsume them in an hour? The fact that you have to wait 30 mins for each pill would suggest they LAST 30 mins each, this question needs re-writing me thinks...

    10/11 - but where I come from, "innings" have 10 outs in them, and since that wasn't an option, I have no choice but to condemn the baseball question as America-centric and biased. Boo! BOO!

    This seems more like a practical thinking test than an IQ test - and it's still pretty naff either way. It's like that test they gave the Harvard grads and a bunch of kindergarteners where the 3-year-olds did better, mainly because the answers were nonsensical.

    Too true, NonSequitir. And yes, I know it's not a proper IQ test... it's just the inning question that narked me. That, and it has questions reminiscent of the skeleton's riddle in PS:T, which had me confused for a long time, until I found a cranium rat charm and almost threw my monitor through the window in annoyance at the solution... :grr:

    Ultimately, it's more of a "how-pedantically-did-you-read-the-questions?" test than even "practical thinking", IMHO. I wrote my original comment trying to point out that IQ tests had to avoid culture-specific questions, assuming that we were assuming this wasn't an IQ test in the first place...

    I got it wrong then, I thought it was somthing to do with cricket, there are 6 bowls in an over so I still got it right... LMAO maybe next time I'll pay attention to wtf Im reading... :rolling:

    You rating? For guys giving an IQ test, their grasp of english syntax sure sucks.

    As for the love life, what do they define as blooming? In my case, they're about a year and a half too late.
