If Arabwel can refuse to acknowledge the existance of Canada, then I can refuse to accept the Czech Republic. At least the London Knights are in the Memorial Cup. I hope I can catch the games on radio...

In my opinion Russia would have deserved to win but I guess it was not meant to be this time. They had an impressivly skilled team and all their matches were extremely entertaining to watch. If the Russian team can hold together like this in the future then they can win several championships.

Very entertaining hoceky was played during this tournament, too bad for the organizers that both Germany and Austria went out early. Sweden surprised me especially Niklas Kronvall and Finland was as sucky as I expected. We're too small of a country to have so many of our best superstars injured or away for other reasons.

Anyway congratulations for the Czechs they kind of sneaked to the top in this tournament not really impressing in any of their games except possibly the final.

EDIT: I just noticed that I guessed the top three of the tournament correctly, just in the wrong order. Yay for me!

Actually, the pundits here are using the Czech defensive style to stifle discussions on certain rule changes for the NHL when they return. Some want to remove the redline and widen the ice. After that last game, that may not happen. I say leave in the red line and go from 85 to 94 feet, not the 100 foot like they had in that tournament.

Argh... I missed EVERY game. They were broadcasted locally at 11:00 am or earlier, so naturally I was away from the television each time.

Is Ice Hockey a real sport? We play field hockey down here, now that is a real sport. As for Canada existing I fear that it does my mates girlfriend is from there, and a more boring person you have never meet.
