[IMG] another question: What kind of CD case did you get with the game, if its the cardboard case, then you might just need to clean off the disc that's not working correctly.

Every time I pull out a disk from that damned cardboard cd case the disc gets scratched up and covered in dust. I think that's repsonsible for half of the load problems in BG.

I suppose no scratches etc on the dic? (Normally in that case you would get another error.) Can't you just continue the installation and copy that file manually? For only the copying of a file fails, so should be something with the disc I suppose.

Great Idea. I bought BG for only 10 dollars, not bad, isn't it? You won't regret it, the game is great. And has very low system requirements. We at home have 2 computers, no one uses the old one exept for me for I always play BG on it :)

[IMG] This is for Headbanger particularly, but anyone else, too. I tried to install a game but there was an error on a file, same kind of language. So, the company sent me a new disk, same prob. So, the company sent me a CD of all the files from the game for manual install. My question is, when there is an error and it says click either OK or explain, but there is no way to skip the file and then iinstall it manually later after the rest of the game has installed, how do you do it? Anyone?

Buy a new computer. Reinstall Windows. Format your drive. Whatever blows your skirt up. Press alt+ctrl+del twice quickly for details or alt+f4 for help. AHAhahahaa. What's wrong with the game might not be software, you know. You could be running on a 486 with 2 megs of RAM and 1 Megahertz. The problem in 'data transfer' is that something's just not ticking. Kind of brings up lost memories...
