I have been an avid player of BG2:SoA for quite some time, sadly i got a virus sent thru my pen pals email, so i had to format, etc. I fixed some fdisk problems i was having after formatting, and then installed all my games(the best was saved for last) and went to do a full install, and i went all the way up to disk four, then it asked for disk5, this did not happen the first time, and the game only came with 4 discs. Suggestions helpful!

NOTE: It does not do this on Recomended install. BUT I REFUSE ANYTHING LESS THAN A FULL!!

The installation software is kind of buggy when installing from more than one drive. Make sure you install all cd's from the same drive.

When inserting the next disc, be sure to wait for the disc to stop spinning before clicking "OK." That solved it for me.

Right now I am using XP, but have had to do the same thing when installing on ME or 98.

Interesting, I am running win2k, but I've never had the problem. I always hit enter when the drive is still closing. Maybe it's because of the canadian version? Or do you have the English version?
