Those people in handcufts, suggest to me it might be a court. The chinese characters close to screen suggest to me it is from a chinese court (not taiwanese). Hope this picture is taken from a tv show or movie or some fake courts. But if is real, look cafefully at the picture, learn a thing (or two) about chinese court procedures.

That is amusing but I have a related but even more amusing story although it was anything but funny at the time.

When I was stuck for around six hours at the Belarus-Poland border the Belarusian border guard was busy engaged in the same activity while we sat and waited for him to get off his *ss and stamp our passports so we could LEAVE his country.

Actually, there was once, here in Ames, iowa, u.s., my friend drove and we stop at a traffic light, beside our car is a police car, with a laptop and guess what i saw when the police was waiting for the green light.

"Wish I could play solitaire right now?"

Seriously, it's boring job when all you have to do is sit on your arse all day, listen to others, and keep nodding. You can't blame a man for trying to get the time pass faster, can you?

Well it's certainly unsettling if it were true, but I'm glad to hear you made the effort to mention it has nothing to do with Taiwan. ;)
