I just started a solo Stalker game a little bit ago and until now didn't realize how powerful they were. Granted their nowhere near a kensai, but if you like swordwielders as I do, they are quite fun.
I have my stalker dual wielding the Celestial Fury and Belm. This gives me 4 attacks per round; and after I cast haste on myself, 5 attacks per round. Plus I can hide in shadows and backstab. Not as good as a F/T, but if you're soloing, those driud spells plus haste and minor spell turning really come in handy.
I never realized how fun this class was (without being an über-class like the Kensage).

Whats the swell thing about a Kensai/Mage anyway, you can nver have and 18(+)dex, and 17+ str, and high int and high con without cheating, but a fighter without armour needs lotsa HP and big AC bonuses, so dex&con must be at max, everyone, but especially solo-ers(?) need high str, and mages need high int, so, are you all cheaters, or am I wrong here
    BOO says: Wha/t?

I don't like Kensai/Mages either (maybe because I can't use them properly) but high stats can be roled easily. You can set at least 3 of your stats to maximum very easily. And in the case of Kensai/Mage the cons, dex and int is important only. In the game there are several fantastic belts, which gives you extreme str. ( xmpl: at the begining in the Adventure's Mart )
Many people plays with Kensai/Mage and I would not call them cheaters. With good logic, design and a little knowledge you can replace the cheat.

But this topic is about the stalker. Do you think it is better than a Kens(13th)/Thief?
Maybe not, but much more interesting!!!
