Is it just me or is Viconia's magic resistance incredibly annoying? Those rare time she gets hurt (she does have high dex after all), it takes me about 10 attempts to heal her. What do you do about this? Just resting a million times seems a bit tedious, and I'm not that far into the game yet, so potions aren't that common.

There's nothing you can do. That magic resistance is a curse as well as a blessing.

There's one good thing though: in BGII you won't have any problem with her resistance: it will let through all protective and cure spells.

    Magic resistance is very annoying!
Before every fight I could see coming, I hasted my party, and then wondered why all the dwarves were lagging behind.

  5. Her magic resistence is incredible. I don't use spells on her, rather I just by potions which aren't affected by magic resistence.

Indeed, use the spelsl for the other partymembers..... and give her just some potions. I discoevred that that's the best solution.

In my game the potions were also affected by her MR so i couldnt heal her without trying a billion times. So you just have to keep clicking.

I also asked this in the What would you change-topic: Isn't there a patch for this? There is less magic in BG so maybe you can just set MR to 0 with GK.

[IMG] NO. Of course is very useless the cloak of balduran, only remember to get out this cloak before use any spell or potion upon your character. Also in BG2 it give you a lot of help.

It's not a solution concerning the drow, but use the dwarf Yeslick. If you give him the WARHAMMER that you get from Bassilus, he becomes a pretty good fighter, and a pretty good cleric he already was. I had the drow, but I was forced to take Yeslick because Viconia kept leaving me. My Reputation was 20...the breaking point for evil aligned characters.
