It gets up to mid 40's here in Brisbane most summers and down to about 5 in winter. Plus living on the coast means a huge rise in humidity (and the occaisional cyclone) which can make living hell for someone like me who is perfectly fine in wearing shorts and t-shirt when its 5 - 10 degrees.

Dont know about the temperature (too hot anyway), but its unbearable humid right now. Typical climate for the region.

Change please, and quick. Or else people will grab sharp objects and swing them at others.

+ 32 here today. I'm jealous at the male members of the population who have the option of walking around with their shirts off!

Actualy greyish and would-be raining here. Since when this topic transformed into a « weather status report » thread? Seems *almost* as pointless as the « What time is it in your Country » thread not so long ago. That was SO pointless :shake:

BA, quit whining...33 degrees is nothing.

It was 26 degress yester day while it was *raining*! Once the rain stopped, the temp got up to 32 degrees with a humidy of >95%. Last week is was about 37 to 38 dgrees here. And once winter rolls around once again, it'll get down to -12 degrees with a humidity of <20%! :rolling:

:hahaerr: In Europe, the average was 95 farenheit, or 35 celsius. At one point, it got up to 46 celsius. (Italy... Sicily to be more specific)

Dang! It has been over 30 degrees for some days now, and I'm having nightwatches. Trying to sleep when it's so hot is frustrating. And then the humidity, it's allmost the worst about danish summertime. Wish I was in Italy. I can only dream about cold freezing winters and nice blizzards :)

Ahh, yes. A true freezing winter with chilly blizzards... my nordic blood thrills to that prospect.

Because we don't normally have temperatures of 30 degrees C and up. ;) Installing air conditioning in your house when the average summer temperature is 20-25 °C seems unnecessary to me. ;)

Well, can only speak about my tiny coastal region here.

You know, the funny thing is that it's well below average temperature all over the northeastern U.S. We've had a lot of rain, though.

    @ Dragonfly

Well, the women can follow the example too, if they can bear the staring. In fact, I believe quite many do at the beaches. ;)

Some 28'C here and it's nice to have it warm for change. It wasn't so long ago when I was freezing my butt off in wait for that bus to come or trudging through the ice and rock. Just a pity that the summer of Finland is so short.

All the more reason to emigrate and/or travel in EU.

Another suffocatingly humid and hot day here. To think that this week, the temp had dropped enough that I had to whip out the sweatshirt.

Oh how I hate Quebec. My nordic blood screams for the return of winter.
