    Squeal wage slave, SQUEAL!

In other news, I just bought Firefly on DVD. Going to watch now. Never seen it before, so expect me back in a few hours, bouncing like a child on a sugar high.

There are new endings of each episode if you turn off the DVD player early. ;)

Morning, all, snow overnight and 22 F. Panicky church is holding sunrise services indoors tomorrow. My first reaction was, Wusses! but then I remembered how many little kids and older people come to that service so maybe there's a little bit of sense to it.

I am still on to help with the egg hunt. Sun is out and the temperature has shot up to 28 so maybe it will melt before the afternoon hunt - if not the eggs will be easier to find.

Wait, I said this somewhere else. Oh, well.

    Chocolate tomorrow, yay!

EDIT: oh, yeah, forgot to mention I was looking longingly at the checkout counter chocolate bars (Lent, you know) and noticed a brand I'd never seen before: Spunow - and picked it up, wondering what it was - and realized I was holding a Mounds bar upside down. Try it sometime.

    Wal-mart is Hell.

10 women with shopping carts jammed amongst 4 aisles of picked-over Easter candy. It didn't help that the brilliant management decision is to park 100 carts on the other end of those aisles, literally blocking everyone in one corner. *shudder* At least the 6 babies I saw got to be safe in the cart seats.

ARGH! I do not want to have to waste tomorrow doing nothing with the family - I hate holidays! I do not want to gather with the family and pretend I am interested in hanging out with them/talking with them, etc, when I could be doing something I like instead. It is a completely waste of a day (Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, all those family-type holidays). My family is fine, but I don't particularly like them, like talking to them, or like being with them...

Bah, I'm hungry. Sitting here, wondering if I should get a soda or just drink tap water. Seems that I'm thirsty too. It's 2 AM here, and I'm not making any sense.

Squee! Watched all the episodes of Firefly, and loved them. Not really sure what to do now, though :( It'll be hours before the shops open, so I can't get a copy of Serenity for ages.

    What?

@ Dragonfly - one of those revelatory moments.

Made it through the Easter egg hunt, cold and all - helped supervise about 40 frantic kids, toddlers through about 10 years old. They had fun, nobody got hurt, and only a few tears.

Up early for sunrise service, then this holiday will be history.

I get to play easter bunny tonight after the kids have gone to sleep. I told the oldest that he has to go to bed at 10:30 (which is early for a non school night for him) so that the easter bunny doesn't have to stay up too late hiding eggs. He's 8 and he figured out the whole santa/easter bunny conspiracy almost 2 years ago but he sure as hell didn't lose his interest in chocolate! The toddler on the other hand is fresh and ready for his venture into the world of giant bunnies getting into locked houses in the dead of night and leaving surprises.

Hey all, just waving hello before I log off for a BG session. Have a real good Easter and might let the grandkids visit here if I see some up this way after church.

Well I just recovered from the Minicon I went to. So much Anime and Manga... And the Cosplay, my god so many people dressed up as catgirls it's not funny.

In other news, I now have C&C 3. Yay

My stomach's making odd grumbling noises, for no apparent reason. My head hurts from study, and I can't find a decent putty rubber anywhere (the ones I can find are horribly stubborn, and can't be kneaded into any useful shape - they just tear after a small battle with them).

The patch for Medieval 2 isn't out yet, either.

    Sod.

Reading the Alleys gets me in a bad mood. I suppose that's a good thing - I get to acheive the same old effect without having to actually post anything. It's a real time saver.

On an unrelated note, I'm wondering how come I seem to have a 50% chance of ending up in the wrong bus whenever some drinking takes place. It is truly a baffling phenomenon.
