Custom Parties?

    [​IMG] Hi im a complete NOOB at this so you should feel free to insult my compitence, i was just wondering if anyone could give me an idiots guide to forming a custom party for solo play

    Basically, you can have a "solo" multiplayer party, although it's better to say "single" because solo infers no party. You can also have a mixed multiplayer party as far as created characters and NPC's go. It's all in the thread. ;)

    PS in those instructions where it says to choose serial, you don't have to do that either, I have always chosen TCP/IP.

    Well you need to CREATE a multi-player game. If you have a network card make the game connection TCP/IP. Remember you must create the game, if you JOIN game you'll sit there a long time.

    Once connection is choosen you'll be asked to create 'New' game or 'Load' game; kinda self-explanatory. First time through you will want to Import you pre-created characters to a New game. The protagonist will be the top left character.

    One last note, if you plan on migrating characters that have equipment you will need to save the game once started, delete characters and re-add them. (A new game wipes the inventory).
