need help in the asylum

    [​IMG] keep getting petrified trying to get out of the asylum cause I cant get in. Any help would be great. I don't want to start over..

    So is your problem getting into the asylum or getting out?

    The easiest way to get in is through the Pirate Leader guy. Bribe the guard to get into his house.

    As for your problem getting petrified...the only place I remember getting petrified was in the Drow area of the Shark-man map...and all you have to do to avoid it is disarm all the traps.

    Need more info from you if you need more help.

    I've been through the Assylum a couple of times now, and even in the game BG2 as well.

    Perhaps you could 'clarify' a bit more about who you are fighting or what your party is doing, etc. I'll try to help of course.

    well actually I am trying to get back out. I went to the asylum, but I cant get in either of the doors. I know about the pirate leader.but I thought I would just go up there and check it out. well since I can't get in I tried to go back and go to the leader. but I when i try to cross the bridge and go back. There is some sort of spell trap that keeps petrifying all of my charecters no matter what I do. Hope that sheds a litte more lite on my situation. thanks for the responses. I need all the help that I can get

    You need the Wardstone to get across the bridge without petrifying.
    You "pick it up" from the cowled wizard's home in the NE part of town.

    I don't know how you can safely return over the bridge to get it though. Sorry
