A kit idea

i have been doing some thinking, since every time i ask for the utilities the links dont work or i get some stupid file that i have no idea what to do with and cant open cause it need something to open it with, i was wondering if somebody could make this one.

Now i know what you are all gonna say when you see this kit but it is ment to make the game more challanging so has major ability issues.

Peddler: The Peddler is a person of vision and cheap goods. They use their wit and charm to make friends, defend their pride, and get discounts at stores. The Peddler is alway travling so really never has time to develop skills in weapons of complexity(though most people blame the fact that they hate to spend money and just like to horde it). With years of practice backing them up they make some of the most deadly opponets. Bandits skilled in the magical arts are always a problem for a Peddler so most of them learn a bit in the arcane arts to avoid the encounters, or alter reality to suit their more physical side of fighting.

Advantages:
A Peddler gets +1 to hit and +1 to damage every 2 levels.
Can put five slots in any of the three weapon types they can use.
Gains a -1 to bonus to speed factor every 5 levels.
Gets a +4 bounus to charisma.

Disadvantages:
Only half of normal lore value.
Only half of normal pickpocketing ability.
Cannot cast any Necromancy, Invoksion, Abjuration or Conjuration spells.
Cannot be of neutral alinment.
Cannot put slots in any weapon styles.
Cannot use any bladed weapons.
Cannot use Bows or Crossbows.
Cannot use Maces or Warhammers.
Cannot use Hailberds.
Bard Song does not progress with level.


Another idea is to make a kit called a storyteller and just make a bard with half pickpocketing and the bard songs from IWD the Heart of Winter

Note: the first idea kinda sucks but i really like this one!

 

Overpowered. This thing kills a kensai WITHOUT the armor restriction...

why every 2 levels? that would put them on par with the best of warriors i think, and they're just.. peddlers? hehe

again, why? i suppose its to balance out the fact that they cant use othewr weapons, but iirc, even rangers cant do this (could be wrong) and although they can use everything, they are specially trained to wield weapons, unlike the peddler who will probably practice on his own and ask for tips.

from running out of towns where they've cheated people while carrying the rest of their wares? hehe.

this is the only one that i think fits in with the character's description, but is a +4 to any stat allowable?

hehe these are just my humble opinions dude, of course i'm partial to the warrior classes so this may influence it

 

riiight, i think maybe just the bard from icewind dale and naming it a storytrller will be good..........................ya
