ok, i dont think a sword can count as an NPC but i think Lilarcor needs a prize anyway, he is just so funny and says thinks at the perfect times
e.g. in druid grove "wanna kill that over there? cmon lets kill something"

and talk to him infront of the shadow dragon and he can say "i wanna kill a dragon"

 

Yeah, but Lilarcor's best lines have to be

"You know, in a previous life, I was like, a moonblade!"

"My previous owner said I was sharp and edgy. He was such an ass."

The first time Edwin did is incantation of the Nether Scroll, I didn't understand what happen...I was like: "God, he did is spell casting, now I cannot move him, select him nor talk to him..." Then I realize He was a woman....I was thinking I've lost him for good...It took me a moment of reflesion...I was angry...

So I had the idea to force conversation with him...And then He just said 3 words (with a female smoker voice): "THIS IS BAD !!!???"

I laughed it for about 10 minutes...

My personnal favorite NPC is Irenicus without a question....Not because is funny, but really because is the Best vilain I ever saw in a game or even in a movie....

Jan Jansen is definitly the funniest...

I also really liked Haer Dalis. especially when He have conversation with Viconia...

I didn't liked Minsc very much, but he had couple of great quote while speaking with Edwin...Especially when they speak of their respective "rodent"...

 

Coo! Me favorite character is me! Coo! Vote for me! Well I liked myself a lot better before I was murdered by ye, ward of Gorion. I thought me sources were infallible. I thought ye wanted info on a lass named Imoen. And to capture the mage Jon Irenicus. Coo!

 

You don't talk like him for one thing, you're doing all your "coo"s in the wrong place and I believe you wrote his name wrong, I think.

 

Demonknight is my fav,strong and powerful! Besides extremely evil.

Neeber (cousin? of Noober from Bg1) the annoying, The Ultra cool spectator beholder

and Edwina:

that guy in the copper cornet that keeps trying to grab your girls from you

Jahiera: 'I can set you on fire with something elese if you truly wish'

some of the shopkeepers say this, which tie in to the developers place:
'clamshites, tiberians or canadians, they all make thier way eventually to amn, they do'
one of the loading screens says:
'your characters may not need to eat, but YOU do. we dont want to lose any Deicated players'
some of the men say:
'theres nothing worse than a sleeping kobold'
the town criers say at the very top of thier voice when you right-click on the 'IM ACTUALL QUITE SHY!'

Coming from Irenicus, that cracked me up forever!

 

As said before; Minsc rules all.

First time I played BG2 I lied with my dad and at the time I came to the pirate lord he was watching. And he literally laughed so hard that he fell out of his chair. I got myself a pretty good laugh to, although the fact that my dad fell probably boosted it a bit.

But almost every time Minsc says something it´s funny. "Minsc will lead with blade and boot... Boo will take care of the details. *Squeek Squeek*" or "Go for the eyes Boo, GO FOR THE EYES!!"

Minsc makes BG2, its as simple as that.

 

Tiax and the rest of the crazies. But especially Tiax

"None walk where Tiax walks, lest he walks upon them".

"Chinchilla" was a Bhaalspawn? Are you referring to the rabbit in the Marching Mountains?

I swear, that rabbit is the same rabbit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

 

Irenicus. cool voice. And the way he says things. "You should survive the process"

 

Jan's pretty funny with his long winded stories, gets Keldorn annoyed.

Drizzt and his gang are cool as well.

Most characters are! its such a cool game!!!

 

Two. Salvanas, the horny elf in the copper ccornonet, and the dude in Spell hold: One has lots of time for contemplation when waiting for the endless waves of bad doggy werewolf monsters that chew your feet while you sleep!!
Or something like that.

 

Haer' Dalis without doubt, and for no funny reasons. Look at this guy, he's not even afraid of dying. Quite melancholic, and the quote "At last...oblivion..." when he dies says it all
Not the "powerful" npc, but maybe the most interesting character in the whole game.
