[IMG] I've read alot of the material both here and elsewhere on the Darkest Day. I was just wondering if I could get some ideas on how its going? Before I invest all night in downloading it I just wanted to know more.

    If you've played it ....
What new kits have you tried? How do they play? Are they balanced?

How are the new areas? Do they blend into the story or are they seperate adventures?

Any other info or insight into new spell and NPCs or whatever stuck you about TDD would be great.

    Thanks.

Hi mates!TDD is surely worth the effort coz:
-there are many new kits from which at least one will fit with your tastes and be extra fun to play.
    -May new areas,items,spells etcetc
-There is 1 Major quest,8smaller and many other small ones that don't fit with the story(can play them anytime)
-New NPC's,most of which are from bg1

huff,huff:rolling::eek:Not enough?I would download it just for the kits since I like Vampire Slayers(not goody-goody Undead hunters)and Chroniclers but it's hell of a work worth downloading!

I would recommend that you wait a little while longer before donwloading. The game is still incredibly buggy right now; despite what the site says, many people still consider it a beta. There should be a patch/new version released later this week that addresses all the bugs found to date. I would wait for that at least, although as more people play further into the game, even more bugs are bound to pop up.

[IMG] well, i'm now 250mb into my download, 2 days after losing 100mb (mumble). As I am still playing though BG with my mage who I am going to take through BG2, TDD and TOB. I probably won't install TDD until the TOB patch is out anyway! like I said somewhere else, if you are going to be downloading it on a dial up connection, do get a download manager! and a good one! I got Download Accelerator (but spelt right) Plus, and it LOST 100mb!! grrr

Slayer of the eye is nice too, because it is imune to those nasty imprisonment spells

www.dap.com. Download and use Download Accelerator Plus when you want a good download speed, it really works. It searches the best ftp... and a way of downloading that make the downloading go faster.

I'll play TDD soon, I hope it will give the game some new great things!
