    I've tried it a few times, but everyone seems to be too good for me. The only time I've won, is when I joined a "newbies only"-game, and there actually was newbies there :evil: .

    A friend of mine plays it a lot online, and he has a very weird but succesful strategy. When the game starts he builds a harbour, ships his peasants, and starts searching for the opponents island (he usually plays islands maps). Then he starts building ON the opponents island, and by the time that guy knows he's not alone, it's too late. He's done that quite a few times. It doesn't work twice against the same opponent though. :D

    [​IMG] I don't play AoC online because I doubt anyone would want to play me, and I like to make my own maps.

    Then people accuse me of cheating when I don't because I have a strange style that no-one understands :shake:

    Maybe I'll try it though :thumb:

    [​IMG] Played it once, got creamed. If you want to be competitive in this type of game, you've got to be playing 24/7 and I'm completely serious.

    BTW, I made many maps and I actually started making an RPG series using the map editor. Took forever though and I doubt I'll ever finish. It's been sitting there for two years I think.

    in the first time I played, it was DM and I almost got creamed, luckily it was 4v4, and my 3 other team mates helped to keep the front line until I recovered my economy (I had only like 20 villagers) and we destroyed them, after that game I learned alot of things....
