Anyone have any really old daggy games lying around? Bonus points if they're educational :D

I myself have Odell Down Under, Dinopark Tycoon, and Awesome Animated Monster Maker. Here is my review of all of them:

Odell Down Under: This game is sad. You take control of a fish and have to go eat things, without dying.

Dinopark Tycoon: This game is funky in a lame way. You own a dinosour theme park, and have to keep it together. I don't think I ever made a very successful park...

Awesome Animated Monster Maker: This game is funky is a lamer kind of way. Basically - you make monsters, clothe them, and whatnot. Bought it for 5 bucks...

And to my surprise, Octara has Odell Down Under too!
    * Octara feels like playing Odell Down Under
    <Aikanaro> LOL
<Aikanaro> As in, the game with the fish?
    <Aikanaro> ^_^
    <Octara> you got that game?
    <Octara> yes :¬P
    <Aikanaro> LMAO!
<Aikanaro> That game is seriously sad
    <Octara> I know

[IMG] I have a copy of "The Incredible Machine" somewhere. It is a game in which you had to use cartoon-like technology to solve puzzles or to create your own crazy contraptions... Now I feel nostalgic, probably I'll dig it up from under my bed and play a few levels.

Found also Commander Keen 4. It had a built-in version of Pong accesible from the main menu... I remember I used to play that more than the C.K.4 game itself.

@colthrun and Morningstar, I also had Commander Keen 4, and you're both right the Pong game was sometimes more fun than the proper game lol. Ah nostalgia!

I still have tons of old games, though I'm not sure if I have any lame ones. Maybe the Aladdin platformer- that was a good game. Or the EA Kids paint package.

I have Incredible Machine and Keen games as well. Ah, the days when Sierra actually made decent games.

In have three of the incredible machine games - the second one (that comes in the funky box), the third one (on cd, with loads of new items), and the "toon" one (Incredible Toon Machine).

I only have Commander Keen 1 and 4 though. I used to look forward to playing the whole series.

Cosmos (the green alien) was a fun platform game. I played that before I played Keen.

And there was also some game with some captain in space.. can't remember his name, but I do remember his theme song played by the PC speaker. Also a platform game, but the levels are not linear, so I never beat it because I don't know where to go!

Like many of you I have Commander Keen 4 and also 1.

I also have tonnes of old games for the Amiga! some of my favourite include:

Pac-man :D gotta love that yellow guy!
Mouse trap which I actually never completed.
Chaos Engine which is a very cool shoot 'em up.
A game like space invaders only more sycodelic!
And New Zealand Story, with that crazy Budgie :D
And last but not least The Froggy Mathematics game! Hours of fun!

I could go on but it would only make me go and find the Amiga...

It's not a budgie, it's a kiwi bird of course.

I have thousands of old daggy arcade games on my PC too.

Yup it was Captain Comic! Just Googled it and there it was.

Bruce Lee? I have one on my Apple ][. Is it the one with the fat white guy and skinny black sword guy chasing you through all the levels?

Strike Squad (1993). Probably *the* game with the most promise, and bugs.

It had everything I wanted in a game: squad level tactical combat in a sci-fi setting, characters with personalities and random quips, options for pause/real-time or turn based combat, stats galore.

It was also unplayable due to one of the worst interfaces ever seen and number of game engine problems and in-game bugs.

I still have the disks, although I used one of them as a boot disk as I ran out of 3.5" floppys. You can still get the game at underdogs. You'd think with today's technological advances they could make more games like this one, that actually works!
