    Celestial Heavens have posted the first visuals from Heroes of Might and Magic V: a phoenix and a undead capital. From what the guys at NWC are saying, it seems like they've understood that Heroes IV was just wrong and that number 5 will be nothing like 4.

    I just saw it like 2 hours ago and wondered if I should open a thread.

    They look absolutely great, the phoenix finally doesn't look like a big chicken but as a fiercesome beast. And the undead castle thank god has a little detail which will make it feel lika a home as it was not in Heroes IV

    But, a new sequel in the making, that is really good news! Has the release date been announced yet?

    Actually Heroes IV wasn't that bad, it was just to big a change for many of the heroes fans. I played heroes from their very first beginning and am looking forward to V. I still play heroes 2 3 and 4 and I like them all, each have their strengths and their weaknesses.

    A few very promissing facts of the coming Heroes V:

    Heroes are off the battlefield!! (I'm very glad they did that.
    The creatures on the battlefield will move from right to left instead of the heroes IV feel.

    Oh and that april first screenshot looked in my eyes even good, I can't imagine what the real game will be like.

    I don't like the screenshot. Heroes V is better. screenshot is too bad. Oh and in new Heroes I just want new characters and monsters
