Problem with Firkraag

    Firkraag is not showing up. His mage is there but won't talk to me, and when I spawn firkra02, a flame shows up but nothing else. I think I have Improved Firkraag installed, but I can't find the DOS prompt type thing for it... my folder with Improved Firkraag has only an unhelpful readme. How can I uninstall it without reinstalling the entire game? Or is there another way around this problem?

    Now that is odd.

    I have never used that mod, mind you.

    Heck, I have it on my mod disk, but I forget where it came from.

    I double checked NI, and FIRKRA02.cre is the correct creature.

    Check your overide folder, and see if there is a file by that name, if so remove it and try again (the vanilla game I have installed does not have it in the override - clean folder for modding is a good thing sometimes).

    If not, I have uploaded his base file here, so you can try downloading it and dumping it in your override (if that does not work, I can always try uploading the scripts to go with him too).

    The only bad thing is the mod comes with new items IIRC, and the only way to get them will be via the CLUA console now.

    Problem is that I can't get rid of it :bad: Does anyone have the files for the Imp. Firkraag mod so I can see which to delete/which I need to get originals to?

    Thanks MajorTomSawyer, I will see if that helps :)

    EDIT: It did not :( Does vanilla BG2 have the file firkra01.dlg? I see that file in there too, not sure if it has anything to do with the mod.

    Is anyone familiar with the mod, or at least with a way to get rid of it (without using the DOS window, I can't find that particular one)?
