Where can I find a certain mod?

I'm planning on giving Improved Anvil another try, and to stop it from becoming another trainwreck due to weak party members I'm looking for one certain mod that i had run which was a bunch of .chr files in folders letting you change NPC class/changing the level to 1, but i just can't find it. The closest i could find was a G3 mod which, while what i was looking for, disables all the character dialog, which kinda removes the main reason to have NPC's at all.

And so, looking for help here finding where such a mod could be found?

I used the following G3 mod (lvl 1 npc's) for my last IA runthrough and it didn't change or disable any of the dialogues (I changed Jaheira to a Ranger/Cleric, Minsc to a Fighter/Thief, Anomen to a Berserker(dualled to Cleric at lvl13) and Nalia to a Sorcerer). Just note that changing any of the classes may disable the usable items and it will break Keldorn, to quote Sikret:
Also there are plenty of powerful party combinations using the games own npc's. Many of them have newly upgradable weapons and Cernd can be played as an Auramaster.

I used just that mod and the NPC's lost all the NPC dialog. Do you use the experience matching component of the mod?

Also, i am sure a run with stock NPC's is possible, but there must be a reason why even Sikret uses 2 custom party members in his character in addition to the PC. And i am not exactly the best player out there, so i really need some help.

Guess it might be a good idea to try and reinstall the mod without that component for me.

A second question, is it possible to dual Ranger to Cleric or is it just multiclasses, and if it is possible to dual, what are the requirements?

Edit: Well, i really don't know what could have went wrong, then. I'm barely using any mods at all, and those that i use really shouldn't conflict. Should LV1NPC's be used as last in the install order?

    from the readme:
Also you need to start a new game for the changes to work, and if it works with kit mods (I can't remember off the top of my head) then these would need to be installed before hand.

There seems to be some mention of Yoshimo's dialogue in the readme, I'm not too sure what its refering specifically though

Started a new game, installed after the kit mods, didn't use the proficiency mod.The issue was that none of the characters had any leaving dialog, and, as such, couldn't rejoin the party without force-adding them via cheats. Not sure about interjections, restarted the game and deleted all the mods once i saw that happened.

Anyway, going to reinstall all the mods and give it another try.

Edit:The same, and Imoen had the class changed even when i didn't change it this time around, so it looks like it didn't properly uninstall...Time to reinstall

Edit:After playing for awhile longer, it appears all the character dialog except the one i tested, party rejoin/leave dialog works. I deleted PDIALOG2.2da of the LV1NPC mod and got back the party leave dialog, but i still can't get most NPC's to rejoin me.

You might want to post about this at the IA forum at BWL.

IA does not work well with all mods. I don't use it, so I could not tell you how Lv1 works with it.

IIRC you must install any other desired mods before IA.

Seriously, your best bet would be to ask Sekrit about how compatable they truly are.

    Hi, TKATK!

There was no particular reason necessitating it; it's all about playing style. Why don't you do the same? Create custom NPCs for yourself. As Stu correctly explained, changing the existent NPCs classes or kits is not recommended.

Also, feel free to visit IA's forum and send your questions there. The chance that I miss a post there is almost zero; while I could have easily missed your post here (beause the title doesn't refer to IA).

Also, considering IA has become a widely used mod, players who post threads here about IA could indicate it somehow in the topic title. E.g. [IA] or something like that. Readers would then know that the topic may not be related to the vanilla game.
