Did anybody else ever try to charm Imoen's location out of the Coweled Wizards?

[IMG] I just started a new game after importing a character from BG1, and kinda forgot that you can't talk to somebody after casting "charm person" on them like you could in BG1.

Makes me wonder, back when you first got SOA, did anybody else ever get the idea of charming one of those Cowled Wizards that show up to arrest you for using magic, and then asking them where they would have taken Imoen, only to find out that "A mind controlled creature cannot speak to you of his own free will"?

Also, I'd kinda like to hear other stories of dumb things others have done mostly because of differences between the various IE engine games.

LOL! I'm sorry, but that is halarious! I never even thought of that, but I don't like charming people. If it makes you feel better, when I was first starting out, I played Shadows of Amn first and in the first dungeon fight (the switch by the fireplace) I kept hitting the wrong thing and I died....three times.
