[IMG]PC Gamer UK writes that Baldur's Gate 3 is actually in the making and neither by Bioware nor in any classical way we might have expected. Part of what RPG Codex reports on the matter is:

"I'll probably get into trouble for telling you this, but hey, I just can't resist. Baulder's [sic] Gate III is in the works. I can't really say much more, but a few details to guide your speculation: it's not being done by BioWare, and you won't be playing it for at least two years. You shouldn't expect anything classically isometric either, as it's being made by a company that believes in pushing technology forward."

You can always recognize the biggest fans of any game by the fact that they can't spell its name properly. Read the rest at the Codex.

Even if this rumour is true, that means it's probably being made by EA and as such not gonna be worth playing :p

Well hopefully it will have a good camera. Isometric like BGII is the only way to really get it to work with multiple party members, IMO. I didn't like NWN because of that, well that and the plot. And NWN2's camera is driving me crazy.

works great in BG, IWD, heck even Diablo. I just Isometric view, looking down on the characters like you a god.

That was pretty funny how the mispelt Baldur's.

I think I would like a new game in the BG series on PC (The BG: DA games on console weren't as good as the PC ones), I don't mind if it isn's releated to the Bhaal swpan series, as I don't really see it being sequel, not with the way TOB ened. Prequel is possible though, something with Gorion maybe, or during the time of Balduran.

    It'll probably dissapoint, then.

I won't buy it anyhow since my pc probably can't take all the hot action from the game. :(

    [IMG] Maybe there's a basis for a bi-weekly poll:

Question: Which of the following games do you expect to hit the shelves first?

    Answer 1: Dungeon Keeper III
    Answer 2: Planescape:Torment II
    Answer 3: Baldur's Gate III
    Answer 4: Icewind Dale XXXVI
Answer 5: None of the above!

I have this issue, and it's actually spelled correctly. Don't know where that mis-spelling in the quote comes from, but it's not the magazine.

Whatever website its on i think. I've seen it being mentioned on several gaming forums and the opening posts all include the

I put the [sic] in there, after seeing it misspelled in Codex's original post, so...

Well even without the [sic], i've still seen it on multiple forums and it is spelt Baulder's. Which is rather weird. It's correct in the mag so I guess it's not a huge issue, man if it was mispelt in the mag that would be shocking.
