    [IMG] Hi all.
    Does someone know the specific ability of the slayer form? I am playing a evil Cleric/Mage, I wished my slayer form to be able to take care of Firkraag, the attacks were good but still I got killed by like 3 hits:mad:, and it seems this slayer doesn't have fire resistance as well?...:confused:
    Anyway if someone knows please post it!

    I think it just increases your damage and attack speed, though I don't know any specifics. Also, I don't think it gives any elemental resistances, although it does make your immune to the mind flayers "death on hit" attack (can't remember the name atm). Hence, I always and only use it against mind flayers (aka illithids).

    Concerning Firkraag, I don't know if his Firebreath is an innate ability or a spell. If it's a spell, Protection from Invocation should work, or just cast Energy Immunity -> Fire.

    Slayer form has 25 STR, very good base AC, THAC0, and number of attacks. It also has some magical resistances, and immunity to most debiliating effects. (confusion, paralyse, etc.)

    IIRC, Mind Flayers still managed to kill my Slayer Form by draining INT. I do not think it grants immunity to death by brain-eating.

    If you are dispelled, when in Slayer form, the claws are gone and you can use your normal weapons while still enjoying the massive bonuses granted by your accursed blood. Dual wield FoA and another spiffy weapon and you will be able to administer terrible punishment to all who oppose you. Improved Haste is also a very good idea. ALWAYS cast Pro from Magic Energy as it prevents the damage done to you if you stay in that form too long....though it will still eventually insta-kill you if you do not change back soon.

    @ Silverstar - I've never died from the mind flayers INT draining while in Slayer form. I don't know if I've simply been lucky or if it's included in some fix pack since I always play with some basic ones from SP. I just always go for the Slayer when I'm doing the Illithid lair in the Underdark and never died from their instant-kill ability. Actually, I don't know if the INT drain and the insta kill is the same thing. 'Nuff rambling.

    I don't know if you've defeated him yet, in or out of the Slayer form, but as a C/M at such a high level as you ought to be if you've gotten Slayer form, you should be allright without it. Don't know if you're looking for tips or anything. If that's the case, post it and we'll help you out.

    @spetsnaz

    You may be right, for one thing, I have so many mods that maybe some changed the attributes of Slayer. Hmm, I can also change into Ravager at very high lvls, which is even much more powerful (and hard to control) but I guess it is from another mod as well...Now if only I can remember which? :p

    You can use wands and scrolls while in Slayer form. So cast a Pro from MW from a scroll and you are untouchable by even the strognest fighting enemy, while you can cut down at your leisure. Or use the wand of spell striking to breach a well-protected mage and make him get in close contact with your inner murderer.

    Bleh...No one knows the exact statistics of Slayer form?:(
    Well alright now, I wasn't looking for tips for the battle...I was wondering, why can't this Slayer (sounds so scary) can't kill the dragon while a dark planatar can solo it...or even!! My Cleric/Mage protagonist can solo Firkraag!(took quite a while :D)
    Sigh.
    I thought this Bhaal power must be something incredible, but alas...:rolleyes:

    @spatznaz
    Thanks for the concern, I have played this game long enough to know how to kill a dragon...not to mention when it's not enhanced by some crazy mods :p
    After getting used to it, these is simply no difficult battle in Baldur's Gate 2...especially in the expansion in which every battle is a single sided slaughter xD
    But now with the new BG2 tweak pack(?) this game is more enjoyable...the fix cancels summoning limit to celestial beings!!! You can summon Planaters like you summon kobolds, and watch the enemy's soul being sucked out...(I mean, they have crazy one hit kill ability don't they? Which look very much like the animation when a Death Spell is used on weaker creatures? I really love that animation!) All these facts lead to one simple word...JOY!!! :eek:

    Here are some statistics. If you want everything you can use a program like Near Infinity and look up the various files relating to the slayer change (slayer.cre, slayerwp.itm, spin832.spl).

    Your hp is set to 100, your base THAC0 to 0 and your base saves to 2 while under the transformation.

    Your base attacks per round is set to 4; the Slayer's weapon is +5 enchanted and inflicts crushing damage. The base damage is 1d8 and the Slayer's 25 Str gives you +14 on top of that. Plus each attack inflicts an additional 2 Cold damage.

    While in Slayer form you gain immunity to numerous effects, including Charm, Sleep, Confusion, Imprisonment, Stun, Level Drain and Panic. You also gain 40% Magic Resistance.
