Who is your favourite NPC?

Who do you think the most useful NPC is?

Do you think BG NPC's are as good as BG 2 NPC's?

 

Well, I liked the BG2 NPCs because every one had something unique. This made me like them more than BG1 NPCs in general.

[spoilers!!!]

Anomen had a romance.
Aerie had a romance.
Edwin had his amulet.
Haer'Dalis had nice swords.
Jaheira had a romance.
Jan had some neat items.
Mazzy had interesting powers.
Minsc was insane.
Yoshimo had a great plotline.

These are just a few examples, which are noticably absent in BG1.

I still love BG1 though!

My favourite ones are Coran and Xzar. Two very interesting characters. Who is the most useful: it depends on your playing style and protagonist. There are however, stronger and weaker characters.
In BGII, the characters are most powerful, that's true. But I enjoy the NPCs from BG as well as the NpCs from SoA.

 

My fav. NPC is Edwin.

 

My favourite is also Edwin.

I still stick with Imoen, because I like playing fighter PC's.She is a great thief and you can dual her to a mage

 

1. Khalid, Kivan and Coran.

2. Coran fits my playing style exceptionally well, so I guess he's my answer. I do think that there are no useless NPCs, though, it's just a matter of how you use them.

3. The BG NPCs need more dialogue, but then, BG2 needs more NPCs.

 

Good alligned: Kivan and Ajantis
Neutral alligned: Safana
Evil alligned: Kagain

Methinks it's their sound sets I like.
