What happened to that Paladin bloke?

    Yeah does anyone know what happens to that paladin bloke you meet just south of the farm where the farmer asks you find his son? Ajantis i think his name was ... Considering i havn't got BGII and i don't know, i was just curious as i found him a strong figure but sometimes too ... honourable?

    Anyway, is he ment to live and carry onto BGII or die in BG1 (i.e. Minsc's missus) or is he to just fade out completely?

    Yes he lives through BG1 and is in BG2, but not as a usable NPC.

    Why what happens to him? does he die? does he become a proper paladin of his order? what happens?

    i heard a rumor that you could avoid killing the paladins in windspear hills by casting true sight, or any other illusion dispelling stuff...never tried it tho.
