You can't use it as windows font actually.
All fonts are included as BAM files (normally used for animations). Each BAM for font contains 255 entries (one for each character - letter) and each entry consists of a single frame. This means you could make animated font actually and include it in some possible mod of yours ;)

With IEexplorer you may find those fonts and extract each entry into BMP format. This is pretty boring, you have to extract one by one lettet/character, so I advise you to try with TeamBG's BAM conversion tools to extract the fonts in some acceptable format if those can do that.
As a font example, font used to display messages above heads of creatures (remember the intro cutscene?) is called FLOATTXT.BAM and is contained inside GUIBAM.BIF file which is normally inside DATA folder.
Also note that most fonts are actually included inside GUIFONT.BIF which is also inside DATA folder. For example, inside this BIFF file is TOOLFONT used for displaying tooltips.

all of the above is correct...

but if you have no idea what Extremist is talking about, it probably won't help you too much.

on one of my websites, i used to use the font "American Unicipal Normal" (or something similar to that anyway), which i thought looked pretty similar.

also you can try : http://www.acidfonts.com
