Nameless One (Beholder) quest

    [​IMG] First of all I dont like doing this. I have always prided myself on my tactics and figuring things out for myself (never using cheats or walkthroughs). But when you spend over 6 hours looking for a damn rod, you get impatient and pissed off. Please help me.

    Im doing the nameless one (beholder) quest, im in the lower sewers. I have been to the temple with the monster created by the followers subcontious mind, and killed (healed) it. So where is the Rod.
    Jaheira is dying so I dont have all the time in the world to walk around and look for it. Thank you. :)

    Did you not get half of the rod after you dealt with the monster in the temple? If not, I suppose you should reload and try again. If you did, then go back to the ex-cult leader and he'll tell you how to get the other half...

    Well, F***. I did not get it from him and I saved a long time ago. there is noi other way to get it. If not i cant do the quest right.
    If not, what did I miss out on

    After you dealt with the monster in the temple, a projection of the dead god should have come to talk to you, given you half of the rod and told you to bring the rod back once you have dealt with the Cult of the Eyeless. You then go into the beholder lair to find the other half of the rod which you use against the elder orb. I have heard of those that have taken on the elder orb without the rod, so I guess it's possible...

    [​IMG] i have easily bashed the Unseeing Eye without the Rod with a low-level party. It was always the fight afterwards in which Gaal hastes his 5 crossbow weilding Cleric types??? they are a right arse and bashed me on several occassions.

    Unseeing Eye.

    I was dissapointed when the Eyeless Beholder Chief turned out to have his eye. Of course, I didn't really expect to see a new animation done just for one blind beholder, but it was pretty lame nontheless...
