Installing Patches/Mods

    Before posting, I tried my hardest to find the answer to this question in the forums and on the site in general...

    I have patched the game to v2.01 and downloaded a couple mods/patches. These files are in .rar format and I am not sure I get them to work in my game. Any help would be appreciated or if someone could direct me to where this question has been previously answered it would be a great help.

    I've downloaded the ease of use, tactics, and Mindchild patch.

    Simple - use a .rar extrator (such as WinRar: http://www.rarsoft.com/) to unzip the files.

    Then move the extrated (i.e. unzipped) Weidu (or other, in the case of MindChild's mod) installer into your IWD2 directory. When you double-click on the icon, the program should start and guide you though installation.
