    [IMG] Hey there,

I decided this time to go for an evil-type party, so I gots me -
    Myself (Trias) - Human Sorcerer
    Korgan
    Minsc
    Viconia
    Jan
    Edwin

So my problem is, I'm trying to find a replacement for Minsc, but it has to be one which can maintain ballance in the party (ie. Someone who can fight)

If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great

    Bye-byes

Well, there aren't anymore fighter types that are evil or neutral. You could pick up Yoshimo and duel him to a fighter if you want, or take Haer-dalis and give him some magic items to make him a little more powerful. Personally, though, I would start a multiplayer game and make another evil fighter character and have him run around and hack baddies to pieces. He would be an anti-ranger and have a smelly pet rat as a companion.

I did a multi-player run with three of my own nasties as well as the evil NPC's. It was fun until my reputation was at one and Cowled Enforcers wiped the cobblestone with me because I was still too weak, alas...

Kyxel Veiras (my protagonist) a Fighter/Thief
    Gahr Angkt Half-Orc Barbarian
    Keiah Av'Kyitch Fighter/Cleric
And of course; Edwin, Korgan, and Viconia.

Good time, but I almost felt guilty being an asshole to everyone...

[IMG] Maybe Cernd (in werewolf form, obviously, and then super-deadly greater werewolf)? Added benefit of more spells, too.

Is Korgan not enough of a melee replacement for Minsc? In fact, I think Korgan is better melee wise than Minsc.

For other members tho, take Anomen and get him judged poorly.

I've been playing the evil party, and Korgan covers the heavy tank part by himself. What comes in handy though is a back-up for him when there are just too many opponents for him to take down fast enough alone, for that either Anomen (bring him over to the dark side)or Jaheira work fairly well along with additional cleric abilities.

    Righteusness shall prev!..gurglegurglechokeonbloodetc.
Imagine Korgan standing above Anomen's split head wiping off his axe and grinning after a job well done.
Not that I have anything against Anomen, he's a great f/c for a good party. ;)

Btw, try saying righteusness 10 times real fast. The damn thing is just as hard to spell, too. :D

[IMG] Just for fun, when playing again with an evil party, I invented some sort of sub-plot in which Anomen got converted into a Chaotic Evil Cleric of Talos, much fun ensued, mostlly at Anomens expense. :D

Just drop Minsc, and pick for yerself a Blade or such, or maybe some sort of Fighter/Druid. You really don't need more spellpower then Edwin and Jan can provide, and Korgan is really strong enough as a front-line fighter. So I'd suggest a Blade (as I'm playing now) which you can either make cool, and let him dual-wield, or give him a bow, and turn him into a nice archer. Mind you, once you can cast level 6 spells and thus Tenser's Transformation, you get yourself a powerhose that can easily wipe out even the strongest versions of Korgan.

Anyway, what I tried to say, just drop Minsc and your Sorcerer.

You can always pick up Haer-Dalis. Although many say he is appaling, they probably haven't actually had him in their parties themselevs, or only had him for a small amount of time. I found that he was a good fighter, and his spells were usefull, especially in tough battles. Charge into combat, hack up your opponent and before he knows it, cast magic missiles. Very effective. :D

Alternatively you could forget your evil ways and become a force of good. Not going to happen is it. :D
