Hey guys! good to be back. I got a faster computer, so I can finally play Baldurs without lagging.

Anyway, I've been trying to figure out how to use CLUAConsloe for a while now, but I\m really not getting anywhere. From all I've read, I have to edit a .ini file in the directory, but I can't find one! I've gone through all the folders, but it sounds like it should be right there. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

    Thanks!

    The baldur.ini can be found in C:bad:Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA

(Unless you used a different install directory. :) )

You may have missed it if you don't have the folder options to show file extensions.

Not that a friend and I have sat puzzling that one out, nosiree :o

Yeah I've checked that folder a number of times (just rechecked) but I can't see any file saying baldur.ini. The only .ini file is keymap1.ini.ToBpatch.
What is the icon supposed to look like?

[IMG] A configuration file - a notepad with a cog on it.

    Should be:
    Autorun.ini
    baldur.ini
    CharView.ini
    Keymap.ini
    Mplaynow.ini

    ...

Are you using Vista now I think about it?

If so you have to look under another tab for the right file you need to change.

Tried performing a search for baldur.ini in the main directory? It *is* there, so might be an idea ;).
Don't know if it might be hidden by default? If so make sure you have show hidden files enabled.

I've got rocket docket. There's a couple files with the names you gave me, the file baldur being one of them. I checked it's properties and it says its a Configuration Settings file, but it does have a pic with a yellow sheet of paper with some cogs on it. the first line says [program options]. I guess this is the one? It doesn't say .ini anywhere, but everything else seems to be right. Must i just add that line of text now in order to use CLUAConsole? is there anywhere specific the line must go, or just in there somewhere.

    Thanks!

That's the one. Use the guide Tal posted to setup your game for cheats.

I am guessing that a 'jump to' command will NOT get a TOB based party back to say...the Docks District?

[IMG] You'd need MoveArea for that.

The Jump command is to your cursor. So it couldn't be on another map to what you're on.
