Hey guys, I recently got BG II:SoA, and I'm loving it, at first I started with a monk, then I started an assassin, now I've got a fighter-mage... I haven't got past Chapter 2 yet so it's ok for me to keep starting over. :p But yeah, I want to make a totally Evil party, which NPCs should I pick?

I found using an evil party was dull.

But the characters to use in an evil party are Korgan Bloodaxe, the dwarf found in Copper Coronet, Viconia De'Vir found in the gov't district, Edwin Odesserion found in Mae'Vars guild and probabley Yoshimo.

    Yoshimo is actually true neutral.

Zen-Monk, don't start picking up characters because of their aligment or class; choose those you like. This way you will enjoy of the game a tad more ;)

yeah i agree with Virne, pick whoever would suit your party the most. :)

Korgen, Viconia and Edwin are all good NPC characters. i've played the game over many times and think these three are the best in their fields, especially korgan and viconia :p . edwin is the best mage because of his extra spells, but only if you can get over his very very low hitpoints (plus since he is a pure mage he has no thiefving abilities).

Hurry to Weimer's site, download Valen. That one's a must for an evil party.

You could also take Haer'Dalis or Jan (as well as the three aforementioned evil NPC's), as they're both chaotic neutral, so they could pass for doing some evil things. You could also take Anomen just for kicks, and get his alignment to drop to chaotic neutral (end of spoiler --> you'll have to find out on your own how to change his alignment :p )

But Virne's advice is best: find the NPC's you like best and stick with them.
But themed parties can be fun too, so an evil party is worth a shot too.

Playing a full evil party is dull and annoying sometimes. Besides, unless you get a copy of ToB, SoA's Expansion, it is not worth the trouble. But if you want to try it anyway, besides those exposed to you in the above comments, you can choose Jaheira. As a true neutral she can fit in a totally evil party and makes a good support NPC.
