    Hey yah!

So I have played vanilla BG2 atleast 10 times so I thought it was time to try out some of the mods.

So I was wondering if The darkest day, shadows over soubar and neverending journey is compatible?

I`ve also heard something about tower of deception, though it requires Tutu to be installed?

    thanks

Hmmm, I know The Big Picture combines TDD SoS, but I'm not sure about Neverending Journey.

Tower of Deception doesn't require tutu, it's a normal bg2 weidu mod. It's quite nice, too.
I wouldn't advise TDD and SoS: the quality is abysmal and they're broken, but if you really want to try them you should use The Big Picture to avoid compatibility issues.

Big Picture is 40megz but tdd and sos are 400megz so I assume that I install the the two mods and then install big picture?

Both TDD and SoS were created a long time before WeiDU was invented. After WeiDU, mod quality changed drastically.

I still remember the first days of TDD, SoS and even DSOTSC (dark side of the sword coast), I used to hang around the TeamBG forums back then and I even designed and implemented a couple of weapons for those mods.
That said, for their time, they were great mods, proving how customizable the Infinity Engine is. These days however... they look dated, are riddled with bugs and don't play nice with most other mods.

I recommend using the more popular WeiDU mods instead of those old dinosaurs. Mods like Sword Coast Strategems and Tower of Deception bring a lot of new additions and are trustworthy to boot.

Tower of deception, improved anvil and I wanna try TDD, any more recommendations and will TDD misbehave if I try it with Tower of deception?

How about secrets of the bonehill, check the bodies?

I think there are some compatibility issues with Improved Anvil, so you might want to check up on that. Btw, it is a VERY challenging mod!

    DSotSC is for BG, though.
If you want a tactical mod, my vote goes to Sword Coast Stratagems 2 - SCS2 for short. It's just the best: excellent scripting, very low-key changes (except for a few creature types), highly customizable and it plays fair. And Ascension of course.
NPC mods: Kelsey, Keto, Solaufein. Bugfree and well developed. The two K's have pretty good voicing too.
Rogue Rebalancing improves the Shadow Thieves and makes some changes to Thief charachters. Imho, one of the best mods around.
Random stuff: G3 Anniversary, Dungeon Crawlers, Assassinations, Tactics (quite a mixed bag).

TDD should be fine in its weidu version. When I wrote my review on it it didn't give me any serious problems.

I would recommend against IA unless you really know what you're doing. The difficulty jump from normal BG2 to IA is so immense you might end up pulling your hair out before you're through with it. Or at least try tactics (maybe combined with SCSII) first, if you haven't tried any difficult enhancing mods before.

IA might work with TDD and tower of deception but make sure you install it ON TOP of those two mods (i.e. last in the install order) just in case.
