Mustard Jelly monsters are immune to pretty much all attacks of the demon Gelugon summoned by gate spell. Fierce demon score zero, Mustard Jelly monster of doom score 1!

Yuenti-Priests can cast shield of lathander.

I found the Ochre Jellies in the River Caves (chapter 4) particularly susceptible to the Aurilian Ice Axes, they die (and dont split) from cold. The Mustard Jellies in Dragon's Eye are vulnerable to fire damage. You summoned a Gelugon to combat Mustard Jellies - bad move:D

I found it hillarious :) that something so evil and innately magical such as a demon could not kill a simple "Jelly" monster. rofl:D

Mustard jellies seem to be immune to all forms of attack but fire as you mentioned.

Yeah, jellies can be a pain.

Never quite understood the idea of using Sunray against them - after reading the description of the spell, you'd get the idea that it's some sort of weaker variant of Flame Strike (!!). However, since Sunray hits a grand total of FOUR times, it takes care of both the initial jellies, their split evil twins, their cousins that spawn when you kill the first batch and their copies, too.

I guess it's the classical case where RTFM fails. :p

Well, that's what usually causes the veterans to use the RTFM weapon. The irony with IWD2 is that reading the manual actually causes more "stupid" questions than it solves. :D
