    They are showing this show every night now on Canada's HBO knockoff, and God I love it. I own the first two seasons on DVD and fully intend to get the last 3.

    Montresor, if you got Ryan O'Reilly that means that you are a modern day version of Iago -- you are manipulative and sneaky and get other people to do your dirty work, and all the while it looks like your hands are clean.

    I think it was told on a DVD commentary that Eamonn Walker (the fellow who plays Kareem Said) was having lunch with the cast and crew. Eamonn had just finished playing Othello on a modernized BBC production and he suddenly shouted to the actor who plays O'Reilly "I just realized! You're like f****** Iago!"

    Most of the problems that happen in the first season can be attributed to O'Reilly's machinations. It gets worse in the second season and thereafter.
