[IMG] I have only found this area by using the method Zorac and others have mentioned.

Wassup have you actually tried the cheat.

If yes you will have to agree that the area AR2700 does exist

We should all be greatful that Wildfire (well I am) enlightened us all to this hidden area that obviously was left out of the final version as some have already proposed.

Has anyone tried to contact Tech Support at Interplay/Bioware to confirm that it was left out of the final release.

Could Wildfire put up a save game for general consumption?? This would help prove/ unprove his area and it's validity (before would be helpful as we could then discover it as he did and play it through).

    Just a thought.

What?! I took Haer'Dalis through the UD...He's bomb.

I don't see what you guys have against him...Offensive spin is cool and...he can cast magic...and besides, he was my identifier dude...

Didn't need to use scrolls or anything...such a great guy to have around...

And I never found the grove, btw...even with Haer'Dalis...

[IMG] The grove was originaly to be included in the original game. That's why AR2700 is in the game. But access to the area was removed in the final release. However, the grove will be included in the expansion pack and you will be able to fight annother slayer and increase your slayer abilities there.

Thanks for the clarification Gunthar. HOWEVEr, it is in my game so that means it's probably bit buggy. Brauhex - a good idea, if I can find my old save games (I uninstalled BG2, but I always keep my saves) i will gladly send them to anyone who wants to check the truthfullness of my story. Personally I feel this wont go anywhere - I'l swear innocence repetedly whilst the entire human population accuses me of being a liar or whatever. :D , so anyway, I think Tal better lock this topic cos it's really not going anywhere.

I think it's still interesting. I've heard some rumours about a expansion pack. Does anyone know anything more about this. Tell us more Gunthar. About the area I wasn't even aware of that there was a demo of the game. And Wildfire if you have some savegames it would be interesting to explore this further.

[IMG] Sorry about the double posts. I tried posting and the message didn't show up so I tried again and so i posted twice. I don't know when the expansion will be out, but it's called The Throne of Bhaal. If you read the news here you would have known that on Jan. 30th anyways, but from what I've seen, it does include the Grove, some other areas, and the obvious, killer items and such. And posibly a change to the ending. Nothing major, but you might have to fight some other demons or something. I'm not sure on this specificaly so don't quote me on the ending. I don't really know much more but I'm on the lookout for more details.

[IMG] Gunthar, don't worry, I removed the double post. If it happens to anyone, just edit it and put a REMOVE DOUBLE POSTS or something in the text. Anyway, I clear all double posts even if you don't.

[IMG] Wow, I was searching older posts and I found this. Looking at the dates you can see this was back in December and they were talking about this area being in the expansion. Well here we are much closer to the expansion being released. I've scanned so far all the news I can find on Throne of Bhaal for this, has anyone found anything? Did anyone stumble across this in their game like Wildfire? Has anyone tried the cheat code mentioned above to get there? Sorry about all the questions but this is exciting stuff!
