NPC is too busy to talk now

I am getting this error trying to talk to the preist in the temple sitrict to start the Eyeless cult quest and get Keldorn. The guy came right up to my main after the cult guys left and told me he wanted to spek to the party leader. I was the party leader. and now it keeps sayin he is too busy to talk. How can I fix this, of force the quest to advance? Is their a clua code to make Keldorn appear?

 

Simply installing the latest patch should solve the "npc is too busy to talk" issue.

uh, by latest patch you mean the latst official patch? 26498? Then the Fixpack, the tweakpack. Just last year I was playing it just fine. I love Keldorn's abilities I almost always take him. I just made an Archer for a run through and a Monk just now to see about getting Keldorn's armor along with misc stuff to see if the low level monk could still hold up. Both games I am getting the error. Not really a huge problem, I still have older saves where I got him, But the thing is not just him, cause without the damn highwatcher priest talking to me, I miss out on a large quest line.

 

I have the patch. and it is installed. The the fix pack was put on the the tweakpack. then the quest pack. But not the unfinished business mod. The only thing different from the last few years where I wasn't getting this problem, is any updates to the packs. Cause like I said I still have save games with Kledorn. (i recently had to reinstall the games)
I could live without the Unseeing eye stuff, but not being able to get Keldorn again?! That's why I wondered if any knew if there was a clua code to spawn him, so I could grab him for my party, even if the rest of the EYE stuff wouldn't work.

 

If you can't talk to anyone then you do need the ToB patch, which should be installed BEFORE any mods (including the Fixpacks). If you only can't talk to Keldorn and the priest dude then I would suspect a mod has screwed it up. Try experimenting by uninstalling mods, perhaps.

Keldorn's creature codes are KELDOR8, 9, 10, 12, and 14. The numbers represent his levels when joining. If you can't talk to him you can use CTRL+Q to get him to join. But while this may circumvent your current problem, not being able to talk to people will make the game pretty much unplayable...

 

Thanks for the codes. I can talk to everyone else so far in all my saves. Just the lastest game and only the priest. Since I can't be told about the quest and that Keldorn is supposed to be in the sewer, he ain't there and the way to the area is sealed off with a picture of a beholder......Which now that I think about also means kagnaxx is ****ed, cause I can't get the one lich in that area.

Also I did the patch then the fix then the tweak.
I suppose I could just unistall the whole damn thing, fresh load , in the right order and see if that works, but..oi vey...what a hassle.

I just tried the code. and he appeared and then dissapeared. I made my char stand right next to him, and talked just as he appeared. It worked. Keldorn talked to me just like normal, with his "Hold, who are you" bit. And then he joined me. ....But the priest still won't talk to my main, and telss everyone else to go find the leader to talk to. So the quest won't start and the passage from the sewers is still blocked. I tried the MoveTo cheat and that put me into the cult area, but right next to the lich tomb, so now the door back to the cult is still locked like when you normally find it. (it makes you go the other was to the gas chamber and then the cult headquarters.) So I guess I could still get the piece for the Kangnaxx.

I looked around here and there, but does anyone know the code for HighMornmaster Arval? maybe if I could respawn him like Keldorn, he would reset?
