The best sword for the paladin?

What´s the best sword for the paladin and where can I find it???

 

Carsomyer is he most powerful sword in the game and to make things better it is ONLY availible to paladins!
Oh i can see that you are new to bg2 so i will say that it is a two handed sword +5 and has many other abilities and if you want to know where to find it then look below.

you will find it on the body of firkragg the red dragon when you kill him. He can be found in the windspear hills and before you get there you must talk to the human version of him in the Copper Corenet.
you must have gained a couple of levels before attempting to kill him
he is very strong indeed and the dungeon before him is even harder
i would say an average of level 11 or 12 to do it. (i was all level 10 to 11)

 

*lets out a large sigh* why does every1 wanna be a paladin these days? whats wrong with the noble profession of the theif? next every1 will say that all their chars are human...not enuff ppl are elves.....

 

Yeah, well it was either a paladin or a fighter... And no, I´m not new to this game - although I´ve had to restart so many times that I haven´t beat up Firkraag yet

 

hey hey hey! i like being elves... but i cant because u cant be a conjurer if u chose elf so i chose halfelf... that good enough?

 

I'm a half elf and it D4mned well better be enough

 

obviously carmorsyr +5. also, i luv the CELESTIAL FURY!!! if u use shadowkeeper, u can have both hands with the katana and its sooooo kool!!!

 

I play elf whenever possible. So I have a mage thats elf, and because of some really annoying thing, Viconia doesn't want a romance with an elf, so I have an evil half-elf beserker =)

Well, to get back to topic; Carsomyer is indeed the strongest sword for a pally, but don't look over Daystar, it's sure powerfull too and can be found a lot earlier without much trouble

 

Lokken, an Evil Elf Berseker? LOL. That's almost as funny as a dwarf with a Katana.

 

And the coolest thing of all is that the sword does 1d12 instead of 1d10! It does 1d12 +5 and can cast dispel magic 3 times a day and uses dispel magic on every hit!

I think there's nothing wrong with being an elf, but a thief, no, that's about the lowest you can get! I feel sorry for thiefs in real life...So why not in the game!

 

aw cummon! a theif has a cool life in rpg, he gets the nice clothes..he gets the nice ladies..if he plays his cards right he gets a guildhall..

(probbly not) interesting point:
when i was doing jobs 4 the shadow theives, aeire said that she didn't think it was right..but has not spoken a word of protest at spending a large amount of time with a guildmaster....

 

well, when you need a good fighter, hehe, someone has to be it
