Im having the strangest problem with Imoen:

She has been having the annoying tendancy to follow my main character around, no matter where he goes or if I venture off with her and leave her for a turn without direction, she always goes to him.

Ive tried editing her script, and finally gave up, leaving her at "None".

    Is this supposed to happen?
Am I missing something (probably obvious)?

    Thank you for your patience.
    Caliban

This really isn't a question of storyline, but of game interface and lack of control of my character. (She keeps running into tough battles, right after my fighter character!)

    [IMG] Spoiler:

There's no quests related to Imoen in the game. If she's following you, it's just because she's been your friend all those years at Candlekeep ;).

Its the script you're using for sure. One of the ai scripts makes your npc characters follow after the protagonist. Just change to a different ai script

    [IMG] Thanks-

I'll Check it out. Im suspecting that it might be some sort of error, because her script was on "none" last time i fooled with it.

Best is to set the script on a passive one, especially with thiefs like Imoen. Else they might start attacking enemies automatically, also when they are hid in shadows.

If an NPC is interrupted while trying to say something then they follow your PC around, click on the talk icon and speak to her. This only happens in BG1 as the characters have to be next to each other to converse.
