    How about reinstalling your OS?
Should remove all files that obviously still hang around where they shouldn´t.

I had a similar problem with Elder Scrolls 3. I contacted support and found out which files i had toremove and how to remove them. You could try the same here.

Nuke the whole directory and registry entry of the game into oblivion manually, the other files are libraries and shouldn't be relevant.

Well, if you are sure you have deleted the directory, then I suggest you reformat your hard drive. Save anything you want on to CD-RWs or Zip disks and then go for it! :rolling:

Run "regedit" and go into "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" then "SOFTWARE" ant then remove the whole Bioware Corp. folder.

That should do the trick, if not you should call support.

Don't do what Eltan said if you have other Bioware games installed though.

Ohh... Forgot to mention. Good addon dude =)
Although, in my case I have 2 Bioware Corp folders, one containing BG2 and one containing both BG1 and BG2. But just remove the BG1 folder.

Håll inne Win tangenten och tryck på R.
Då bör det komma upp en liten ruta som heter Kör.
Skriv regedit i textfältet och tryck på OK.
Då kommer Registereditorn upp, följ tidigare givna direktiv efter det.

[IMG] The language we use at BoM is English, so I suggest you two stop with that at once. Use PM if you have anything to say to each other in a language other than English.

The only advice I can give is something that has already been said here, so I won't even bother repeating that.

What is it with the formatting and re-installing your OS etc here? I realise it's the last option for any problem but hey, we're not in the era of win95. It took me a whole damn weekend to re-install all the programs, games, settings etc I had on my comp before updating to my newest P4 +3000. Including the new settings and optimizations of course. And I have all of my even least bit vital files on a separate hard-drive section. So re-installing the OS or formatting is something I will never, and I repeat EVER do for a simple game.

Which brings me to my present problem. I had to install and re-install and uninstall and tweak my mods in BG2 quite a bit before getting them to work, which I think they did before I formatted. Now before, just activating the bgmain.exe was enough to start the game even if it wasn't in the windows registry. But for some reason, now it doesn't work. I'll need to wait for a month at least before I get the motivation to start looking into this rediculous problem, so if any of you have any advice as to how to get it working again without re-installing BG2 (and all the damn mods with it), I'd appreciate it.
