I was thriled reading Cap'n CJ epic tales about his own PC adventures and thought this kind of storytelling could be encouraged. The idea for this thread is for anyone to tell the fights from their games that they think is worth telling. Don't know if there's already something similar in the forum but I haven't seen it. Also, I wasn't sure if this should be posted here or there, but since it's based on actual gameplay moments, I thought here to be more apropriate.

Allow me to give it a try. And exercise my english while at it. For the record, Lilith is a female half-elf jester, beautiful and with a sense of humor of questionable taste.

Lilith and her party were already bloody and battered from fighting hordes of undead in the crypts beneath Athkatla's graveyard, and frustated at being always a step behind of Shagbag, Korgan's former comrade. After witnessing his nemesis had, as Korgan himself brightly put it, "painted Pimlico's finery with his innards", it was imperative to catch them before they leave the city. T'was Yoshimo who found them where Korgan predicted they would be, on the roof of the Copper Coronet.

Jaheira and Anomen had few spells left. Because of the Cowled Wizards, Lilith and Angelo could not count on their own arcane magic. And wounded as they all were, they could not place their bets on a head on melee attack. The cards would have to be played right.

It was late in the night. Yoshimo hid searching for a favorable spot and waited. When Korgan blasted in yelling insults and death threats to Shagbag, Crazyface could not notice the poison dagger behind his back 'til it was too late. The venom acted quickly and he could not concentrate to cast his spells. Except one. Yoshimo's eyes widened in terror while Crazyface's cloak of fear manifested. His part in this battle was over.

Meanwhile Jaheira entangled the injured and poisoned mage, while Anomen managed to hold Shagbag and one of his goons paralized. Lilith still had a very useful gadget at hand. The cloudkill wand she acquired in Irenicus Dungeon was put to good. She couldn't help but laugh as her three enemies, unable to move, were engulfed in a cloud of lethal gas.

Scroolose and the other goon, who had gone after Yoshimo while he ran in fear, were approached by Angelo and Korgan. Jaheira, Anomen and Lilith joined soon after. The odds were two against five, and they didn't stand a chance.

All were dead, except for poor Shagbag, who survived the cloudkill but was still held. A cruel fate indeed, unable to scream or curse while the bloodthirsty dwarf of his nightmares prepared for some chopping.

Anomen and Jaheira didn't care to watch, but Lilith just smiled and thought to herself: "Ah, I think I just found Khalid's replacement".

This is great! It makes a mundane battle seem so much more alive and real from the characters' viewpoints.

I have a question or two: Which mods are you using? And who is Angelo? Is he a custom made NPC, or from a mod, or something else entirely???

I look forward to reading more of Lilith's adventures.
