You need to investigate the murders happening in the bridge district to begin the process of getting this armor...

    It's crap armor. Stats are:
    AC 3 (as stated previously)
+4 bonus to saving throws (not +5 as was posted)
    20% bonus to magic resistance
unusable by mages and non-evil characters

So if your thief is not evil, you can forget it. And believe me, there are varieties of better armors in the game.
What's best with it is that you need the blood of silver dragon to finish the creation of this armor. And that happens in chapter 6 when you definetly don't need such low value armor.

u will want it because if you you go to umar hills he will think your the tanner and tell you to get some silver dragon blood. So go to the underdark and kill the silver dragon and give it to the guy and he will make human flesh armor +5, it's stats are awesome but it lowers charisma

When I played my first evil party I was so excited about getting a really wicked and evil item made from a silver dragon. (All the other dragon armors were excellent items.) When I finally got it, I was really disappointed. Off to the bag of holding it went, to be sold later. (In other words, it really sucked, compared to all other neat items I had.) So get over it.

[IMG] If you are playing an evil thief, then the Human Flesh Armor does NOT suck. In fact, it's one of the best suits of armor in the game for this type of character. Consider:

    - AC3 is among the best a thief can wear. The exceptions are the Bladesinger Chain (AC1) and Shadow Dragon Scale (AC1?). Neither offers the thief anything other than a slightly lower AC (is your thief a meelee fighter? Didn't think so), and the Bladesinger Chain actually lowers all your thieving stats by 5% - 20% :(.
    - +4 to all saving throws: Thieves have bad saving throws and this makes a BIG difference.
    - +20% magic resistance is always a good thing for any character.

With these bonuses, your thief will have significantly better chances when going up against mages and monsters with innate magical attacks (all the hard ones in the game)

    - This armor also grants +20% move silently bonus, which isn't included in the description. This is helpful for any thief, particularly so for assassins who have lower thieving skill points per level.

And let's face it, a guy wearing a suit of butt-ugly armor sewn from the skin of helpless human victims and the blood of a silver dragon has "don't f*ck with me" written all over him! ;)

Ah, taking coolness value into the discussion. In that case, I think the idea of human flesh armor is stupid, after all, people wear armor because human flesh isn't good at stopping blows, even if you wear an extra layer of it.

So, do you consider a cow with a skin rash to be wearing studded leather armor?

Like all leather armors, the skin is cured and processed by a tanner to make it tough. Plus, the HF armor is magically enchanted with evil powers to make it even tougher.

Has anyone actually told him how to get it? I mean, he didn't really ask if you thought it was crap, he just wanted to know where it was, though perhaps he won't get it now seeing how negative your reviews were
