Pick a class for me to play through. I just finished the game with a Conjurer. I have also beaten it with a Fighter. So anything besides a pure mage or pure fighter.

Fighter/Rogue, specialized in stealth and big backstabs. A shadowy assassin who scouts out the most dangerous target and eliminates him before he even gets to act.

Take after your father Bhaal and become the true lord of murder. (He was an assassin after all!)

I like it. I'll get started right now. I think I will name him Leon Phelps. The ladies man is on SNL right now.

Just finished the game with a F/T and Aerie (just those two). It was a bit of a challenge early on, but got laughably easy the last third of the game.

Unfortunately I lost two of my Baldur's Gate 2 disks. So right now I am just playing through BG1. I have always used a full party though. I like the diversity. Plus, Minsc and Boo stand ready, so I can't keep them waiting.

Cleric/thief is fun. You backstab with a staff ... which coincidentally is the first magic weapon you can generally obtain. Fighter/thief is easier.

Bard is fun as well. A goody two-shoes paladin or ranger fits the story pretty well (but is too much like a fighter).

Playing with a full party makes for a better story and a better role playing experience. Playing with one or two is a bit power gamer, but I like the change of pace from time to time.

Elven Fighter/Mage, I still enjoy being an old school War Wizard.
With NSotSC there's Elven Chain A/C 1 you can cast spells while wearing.

    Happy Adventuring to all..
