My Newest Party - Stuck in Banter Hell!

    My newest party, trying something different...

    Me - Human Cavalier
    Valygar - Fighter
    Xan - Fighter/Mage(1st time use)
    Jan - Illusionist Thief
    Biddekolorak - Cleric of Lathander(1st time use)
    Kelsey - Sorcerer(1st time use)

    From a gaming perspective, I love th party, Bidde helps with the Vamps when traveling in town(he has Hold Undead as a special ability) and 3 Arcane casters really lights it up with Fireballs, Ice Storms, Cloudkills and Death Fogs. Or Spell sequenced Magic Missles..

    But holy snikies, Xan NEVER shuts the hell up. I guess I could tune down the banter accelaration when loading the mod, but I never realized he would be that annoying. Kelsey as well, though not as bad. I love all of the original banters, especially when mixing Good and Evil members. Korgan is great for some funny-ass comments and Jan has a lot of good one-liners for use on Xan and Kelsey.

    [​IMG] There is a tendency for mods to saturate the banter levels. While banter is fun, a great aspect of the game. Such one sided nature of it tends to get a little overbearing when there's simply one or two chatterboxes in the whole continent... not including Noober/Neeber.

    Some bantes gets very annoying after a while, Kagain keeps telling me every other minute that he could buy Baldurs Gate fore every copper, yadi, yadi....

    Fun the first 10 times, not any longer.
