When do you get these quests??? I finished the sphere but nothing else has happened yet. I think it probably has something to do with already having the fighter stronghold, but I wanted to know if there was anyway to do some of the mage stronghold quests.

As a matter of fact it does. All the w/throughs I've read state that if you got the fighter stronghold already you can neither get the planar sphere nor the thieves guild. Happened to me once also.

You get a stronghold based on your main character's class. AND if you already got one then you won't be able to get another. You'd have to load back to the point BEFORE you got the castle stronghold and then play from there. You normally get the wizard's stronghold a few days after you beat the planar sphere. You just have to go back into it. ;)

I'm not going to reload.....between Nalia's Castle and the Planar Sphere I've done virtually all the quests I could do in Chapter 3....I guess I'll just have to forget doing the Mage Stronghold Quests.

Yes u can have both Strongholds, I do and so did other people on the boards do a search on the topic, because I'll just end up repeating myself.

However with the Sphere u know that u will have it as a Stronhold if Lavok said that he senses a magic user in u and wants u to take over, if he said nothing of the kind u did the sphere quest the wrong way... Also if u r dual class, your mage class have to be active otherwise u don't count as a mage and can't get a stronghold.
