    Ribald buys items for a much larger amount of gold when you ask to see his "special" wares. Why is this?

    Hrm, no idea ? Maybe he think he is buying special wares from you as well. Oh welp, its a fair trade off because you have to pay him some gold to glimpse at his warez. Though it was only 500gold, nothing an adventurer type cant afford,eh?

    Well it's actually a very large difference. :) A wand that was normally bought for 15,000 by storekeepers was sold to him under his "special" wares for about 27,000. I'm not sure if he would pay me an extra 12,000 gold for paying his little 50 gp fee hehe. Btw anaris, his special wares has items like the helm of brilliance, +2 weapons, level 9 spells, ect.

    His special wares hardly includes anything worth mentioning. By the time you get there you'll have way better stuff.

    I usually only buy spells there
