Windows 7 and Flickering

    So I'm experiencing the same thing I did the first time I played Icewind Dale: extreme screen flickering as well as the mouse dragging. This was solved by going into config and changing the 3d acceleration. The only trouble is, I can't seem to DO THAT with Baldur's Gate.

    I could have sworn the config file for BG was virtually the same as IWD, yet when I open it, it only shows the hotkey and region tabs. Any ideas?

    What's your graphics card? Does the problem occur when you play in windowed mode?

    Getting REALLY frustrating :(

    ATI 5970. Well it doesn't let me play it in windowed mode, no matter what I change the name to. I guess it doesn't matter anyway, seeing as how I hate playing games in windows. I suppose I'll have to manually change the settings in Catalyst.. Sigh :(

    I really thought BG had all those options in the config where you could change EVERYTHING..

    Meaning ToTSC doesn't either I'm assuming?

    I'll attempt to do that now and let you know what happens :)

    Edit: I disabled Catalyst AI and it worked perfectly, thankyou 8!!
