    [​IMG] I've just dropped the annoying Amonen for the paladin Keldorn, but i'm missing Amonen's spell casting ability. I have Minsc, Jaheira, Nalia,Aerie and the main character is a Barbarian. Is this group a little light on the magic side?

    Nalia makes a good mage... she can learn quite a bit... give her all ur magic spells... till u get Imoen.. they're both as good.. but u won't get Imoen for a while...

    or u could get both scroll boxes and carry around a lot of spells with u..

    Na. Just have Aerie or Jaheira heal (preferably Jaheira so Aerie can use that time to blast the enemies.)

    I dont think so, in my good party I have minsc, keldorn, jaheira, aerie, imoen and me, a pure mage. I must admit that the fighting can get a little rough, but it works quite good, I just summon some extra creatures if more fighters are needed

    However, you can weep - you just dropped caster of the "Gate" spell (and some more).

    If you don't like him, then take another who can cast it - Viconia.

    My new party consists of Keldorn Minsc Me (specialist mage) jan (temporary replacement for imoen Valygar (great at bow) and Viconia this party is balanced pretty good (so far)

    [​IMG] Is Imoen worth having back after the rescue? I haven't got this far but she must lose out on loads of experince points while captured so is she going to be as strong as anyone she replaces?
