I'm afraid of heights, but not of the idea of heights. I have no trouble queuing up for rollercoasters or something like that. Last week, I went in a coaster twice that has a 50 meter drop and it was scary as hell, but the fear didn't kick in until I saw how high I was.

I sky dived twice, and I found when the parachute is open and you start recognizing stuff again that the really fear kicks in. The falling down at 200 km/h is a breeze compared to that ;)

But if a high building has windows until the floor, you won't find me anywhere near them.

I'm also arachnophobic and afraid of wasps. I know a bunch of wasps could kill you, but there doesn't really seem any reason for me to be scared if is a single one enters in a 3 meter radius. I'm doing ok on the arachnophobia this year tho, I seem to be less scared. And luckily there aren't too many wasps yet :D

And I'm afraid to eat mussels. (Mytilusedendiphobia? :p) I'm not terrified of it, but I guess it's pretty irrational :p It's just that mussel allergy runs in the family, and although the first allergic reaction won't be fatal, they can become more severe every time. I don't know if I'm allergic and I'm not planning on finding out.

I need ot go to the hospital immediately if stung by a bee. So I hate them most passionately. I kill bees whenever I get a chance. Having cedar siding on my house, they like to nest all over my home. I go thru a lot of RAID.... Phobia? Probably not, but close.

Not exactly a phobia but whenever I see (real or pictures/videos) of slimy frogs or lizards, I get the very disgusting thought that they were crawling into my mouth. And the thought really creeps me out, it always send the shivers down my spine and the hairs on the back of my neck and arms just stands up. It's always been like that ever since I'm a kid. But other than that, I'm not exactly afraid of these amphibians.

I got an awkward relation with speed and heights. No real phobias, though.

Heights: I get a bit dizzy sometimes at some height. (No I'm not high...) Often, I walk up a stair (not ladder) somewhat faster than a lot of people. But walking down a stair goes slower. This usually happens in wider open places (like descending from a bridge over a railway) I feel uncomfy looking down sometimes take a small pause to check where the first step is and if my foot is actually stepping on it. I also like to get close to the railing so I can grab it if I need to.
    I surely am not sure-footed.

Speed: When things are beyond my control, I don't like high speed. I can deal with the speed of rollercoasters, but riding (or sitting on the back of) a motorbike troubles me.

[IMG] I have had mild agoraphobia that's been aggrivated by seven near-accidents on the roads since the New Year. Three of which being the same jerk in a white car...

Belonephobia manifesting primarily physically now. Mainly aggrivated by nurses thinking I'm making a fuss when trying to explain vascular involvement of EDS
