God, I hate Ankhegs!

    I hate Ankhegs! I don't have any problems with all other enemies, but Ankhegs make me really pissed...wich is the best way to defeat them without losses?

    Protection from acid scrolls help lots when fighting them, their spit is acid. I hate fighting ankhegs too, can't sneak up and backstab them.

    If you are not soloing, you can backstab them. If some of your character is fighting with them, and your thief sneak behind them...

    My strategy: Put every armor on one of your character, (paladin or ranger) You can achieve -6 or -7 AC. Attack the ankheg only with this one. At the next round other characters can join the battle, the ankheg will still attack the first seen enemy (the well armoured one).
