Yeah, thats an *itch. I have the same problem when i switch between Baldurs gate and Rome Total war.

 

After quite some time of playing BG2 one day, I repeatedly tried to pause World of Warcraft with the spacebar

You wonder how long it until you next 'level up'.

 

You drink 8 beer in 30 seconds and trust that your constitution is high enough to cope with that

 

When you answer all question in the spellhold without reading the question.

 

When you talk along to all the cutscences without a mistake.

 

hehe yeah

 

When you get into actual debates with people about how a cult could function if everyone was blind. And why an eye tyrant would want everyone to be blind.

Then you wonder why the hell Helm or Talos or Lathander doesnt go down into the sewers and smite rightousness into the cult of the eyeless.

 

-When you no longer require to turn in any homework, because the teacher is sick to death of your excuses, most of which include something about Uncle Gerhardt, or turnips.

-When you think that all hippies are werewolves named Cernd.

-When you see a poster for "The Blue Men Group" and you get down on your knees, screaming "Victory for the Spider Queen!"

-When you hear someone whistle, you tell them "Sing another one, my raven!"

-When you steal something valueable from somebody, and then kill them to see if they have another one.

-When you refer to criminals that you used to know as, say, "Bobeleth" or "Hankeleth".

-When you would rather steal acorns off a person than a pearl.

-When you complain that it's GNOMES that work up in the North Pole, not ELVES.

-When you try stabbing something with a knife, thinking it will explode into chunks.

-When you insist that, before a heart transplant is conducted, the heart be taken to a temple to rid the deceased's spirit of any evil.

 

When you actually have a dream where you are attacked by Sarevok, and you blow him away with an M-1 Garand in a thunderstorm, no joke.

 

When you see this bumper sticker, and you immediately think "Lower Resistance."

 

OMG I am sooo guilty of at least 1/2 of these! This thread should be "You know your addicted when" LOL

 

When you insist that all your friends drink until they can barely stand, in order to glean all of the 'rumours' doing the rounds, before you even consider going to bed.

-When you are able to get through the entire game, getting the results you want, while reading less than half of the dialogue
-When you repeatedly try to pause a MMORPG, and become confused as to why your character keeps jumping
-You poke random passerby, wondering why they don't say anything other than "Hey!" or profanity.

 

When you figure out what all your friends' and relatives' alignments are.

When you figure out what all your friends' and relatives ability scores are.

When you figure out what the alignments and ability scores of characters in Magic: the Gathering are.

actually, I was thinking of horror first.

some examples:

When you make book of "how to figure out your abillity scores and allignments"

 

That was a tacky and horrific bumper sticker!

When you see some 'undesirable types' in an allyway the music changes to a more dramatic score!

 

When you think that Romace is everything in BG2.

When you know single word in romance.

 

...When you get an almost irresistible urge to kill anyone who says "Heya!"

 

My housemate always answers the phone with "Heya!", and has also uttered the immortal line "What's a Cleric?" (he doesn't understand RPGs, at all). We throw rocks at him.
